1. ELEPHANT FALLS

Elephants Falls is located about 12 km from the busy city of Shillong. It has three waterfalls all of which are easily reached by easy ans safe walking path. It got the name Elephants falls during the British time. There was a stone in shape of a elephant which was affected during the earthquake in 19th century. It is a very magnificient place and the atmosphere there is truly heartmelting.

2. SHILLONG PEAK

Shillong Peak is at the height of 6449 ft and 1965 m above sea level which is the highest point of Shillong. It gives you a panaromic view of the entire city and the Himalayas and even the waterfalls of the Bangladesh plains.

3. DONBOSCO MUSEUM

It is one of the most beautiful museum with details us about the northeast culture. The approach to the place is through narrow winding lanes. The place is very clean and well maintained

4. SEVEN-SISTER FALLS

Seven Sisters Falls is a seven segmented waterfall located 1kilometer south of Mawsmai Village in East Khasi Hills district in the Indian state of Meghalaya. The name given as seven sister as because seen from a distance the waterfalls resembles as the hair of seven women.
